ATLANTA -- Animal welfare issues continue to concern members of the United Egg Producers, despite implementation by UEP members of science-based animal welfare guidelines.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. poultry industry is noting its disappointment with the China Ministry of Commerce's (MOCOM) decision on Feb. 5 to impose preliminary anti-dumping duties on U.S. chicken.

Poultry industry establishes new safety recognition program

WASHINGTON -- To recognize those facilities that have achieved a high level of safety performance through the implementation of innovative and effective safety and health programs, the Joint Poultry Industry Safety and Health Council has announced the first annual safety award program.
